Get Back in the Spring of Things with PTPI

Image
It is hard to believe that Spring has arrived, at least according to the calendar with all the massive piles of snow that some of us still have in our front lawns. Hopefully, the weather will warm up and the plants will start peeking their head out from under the ground.

Thank you Jim for taking care of the March meeting for me. It was truly appreciated. Thank you also to all of you that inquired about my mother. It was very thoughtful of you and appreciated.

Our April meeting will be a trip to Mt. Pleasant and a visit to the Zibiwing Center. The meeting is Monday, April 7, 2014. Please be at the Soaring Eagle Casino at noon or just a little before in order to have lunch at the Legend’s diner on the East Side (left side as you enter the gaming area). Individuals who wish to car pool/caravan are asked to meet in the parking lot of the Grace a Dow Memorial Library at 11 a.m. We are happy that members from the Saginaw Chapter will be joining us. If you have any questions please call Jim Mentele who made the plans for this activity.

After eating and seeing some Native Arts we will travel by car to the Zibiwing Center(museum) located at 6650 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant. Phone number is 989-775-4750. The center is located on the road on the south side of the casino and a little west of the casino.
